Sundaraijal Children's Home

Same story as Binita and Bibisha, his two sisters. Bkiram's mother run away with another man and married again, leaving all of them alone with their father. Who was an alcoholic and used to beat the three of them. The father used to work from time to time whenever he has the chance of getting a casual job, but the money he earned wasn't enough to pay for education or food.

According to him, his parents used to live together, but his father got sick with leprosy and when his mother find out she went and married another man. His father didn't take care of them and the only thing they could do was to beg for money and food in Boudha.
[His father died not long ago because of leprosy and other diseases and now the three brother and sisters lives in Sundarijal.]

Mr. Ram Hari found Bibisha and Bikram near the Boudha Stupa with their father trying to make some money by begging to tourist who passed by. Then they asked Bikram's father if it was possible to go and check their house and their conditions. Once there he saw the poor and miserable lifestyle they had so he offered to take the three children to Sundarijal and take care of them, the father agreed and that's how they are here now.

He is a really smart boy and he like all kind of things and games, with only 13 years old he is the smallest boy from the house. Right now he is studying in class 5 and has been in Sundarijal for 5 years. He says that he loves school because he has many friends there and he loves learning as well, that's why every subject is his favorite.

Bikram has a lot of energies and loves playing with other kids in the house. Whenever the chance of playing football comes he joins straight away. Music is also a big part of his life, he takes part in any dance program that is set up in the house, or just for fun you can see him dancing with other kids. He has many movements and dance really good, even the other kids choose him when a dance show must be done.

He talks a lot and has a pretty good English, he is very polite and happy to receive any tourist or guest that comes to the house and for sure he will try to show the place doing as a tour guide.
